The radical plan to overhaul NAPLAN

The Age, 20 March 2019.  Students would be selected to sit NAPLAN at random and school comparisons would be scrapped under a proposal to overhaul the national test.  Read the article here.

NAPLAN (as expected) has failed to improve student performance.  The Australian Parents Council, representing non-government schools, wants to keep NAPLAN as it is – indicating that they don’t understand NAPLAN data and what it tells us.
